Name that Bunny

Our "farm" continues to expand. This time we have two new bunnies that even I have to admit are completely adorable. Scott and the boys spent about a week building a bunny hatch for the them. We also took some time to learn everything we could about rabbits for school.

Thumper is Jayden's little black bunny and Gabriel named his bunny. . .well, that's our problem. As of today, his bunny remains nameless, which is completely unfair to the little critter.

So here's where you can help. Gabriel needs a name for his bunny. Leave a comment with as many name ideas as you'd like, as many times as you'd like. Then on Tuesday the 17th, he'll chose a name from all the suggestions. And to make this even more fun, whoever sends in the winning name wins a free book! Your choice of any one of my books I have in stock.

Now you can't beat that, so leave a comment! This poor bunny needs a name!

Blessings,

Lisa

PS. Anita, please contact me with your snail mail address for your copy of Chef's Deadly Dish. Thanks!

  1. Hey Lisa!

Jackson thinks his name should be Jumpy and Joshua thinks the name should be Shirts! That's what you get from a 3 1/2 year-old and an almost 2 year-old. Good luck with the name decision! :)

  3. I was thinking Gray Ears but that bunny is so cute. Maybe Peter, as in Peter Cotton Tail.

    Hi Lisa,

What fun - for everyone and especailly the boys.

Why stop with just one name? How about "Happy Hopper Harris"

You do know that bunnies have a habit of mulitplying and I don't mean 2x2 - more like dozens times dozens.

    Blessings

  5. Great suggestions! And yes, I am aware of the multiplying factor here.

The boys think it's a great idea, while I plan to be a bit more cautious in the area of expanding our farm. There is a separate cage in the works. :-)

  6. I was surprised at the gravity at which my children approached this problem. Since we weren't sure if it was a girl bunny or a boy bunny, we've given both. :)

    Suggestions from Heather

If it is a girl bunny:
    Bonnie Bunny

If it is a boy bunny:
    Patrick, Nibbles

    Suggestions from James:

    Boy Bunny:
    Tiny Bear, Hops, Larry-the-Hairy Bunny

    Girl Bunny:
    Miss Brown Bunny
Heather (such a little brother suggestion)

    Suggestions from me:

    Boy Bunny:
    Sir Hops-A-Lot
    Chips

    Girl Bunny:
Latte (cuz she looks about that color)

    What fun.

  7. Yikes, I can't remember if it's a girl or boy either because we've had a bit of discrepancy over that, but I'm laughing and loving all the suggestions!

    Keep them coming!

  10. I wanted to find a name that seemed to go with Gabriel. I thought about ArchAngel or just Angel. Then I did a bit of wiki research and it hit me .. Trumpet ... as it Gabriel's horn.

Or staying with the animated theme .. how about Roger Rabbit.
