For all you wonderful readers, here is my third and last giveaway of the summer. I'll draw one winner out of all the comments who will win a copy of Blood Ransom, Blood Covenant, and An Ocean Away!
I don't know about you, but our summer (winter here) has been incredibly busy with over thirty visitors which included five groups/teams coming through. Last week was our English Camp and the last of the summer activities, so while it's been great, we are ready to get back into a routine. (Is that even possible?)
As for the contest, please leave a comment and if you'd like, tell me what you've been reading this summer. Be sure and leave a way for me to contact you as well. Drawing closes Saturday night at midnight PST. (Feel free to spread the word!)
If you have read my Mission Hope Series or An Ocean Away, would you consider leaving a review on Amazon and/or other online sellers? Word of mouth is what sells a book!
Thanks so much!
Lisa

Hi, Lisa! I'm finishing Blood Covenant today. Loving it! I will post a review, and I'm going to mention it (along with Blood Ransom) on my blog in the near future. I devote Mondays to things related to missions and travel. I would love to ask you a couple of questions for that post if you have the time. If not, I completely understand, and I'll pull a couple of tidbits off of you website. Thanks! Hope you're doing well.

Hi Lisa!
ReplyDeleteI have been reading through the Bible using my Amplified Bible. It started out rather slow speeding up as I was finishing the Old Testament. I can't believe I'm already on Luke.
I have read other books as well. The most recent one is `Approval Addiction` by Joyce Meyer. Thanks

I just reread Francine Rivers 'Mark of the Lion' series. Intense read. Powerful characters and the insight into the struggles of early church will change the way you read the Bible ... especially Paul's letters.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read your books yet so would love to be chosen for the last giveaway of the Summer!

ReplyDeleteSo glad you all took the time to stop by. I loved Mark of the Lion. It's been many years since I read it, but it was so well done.
ReplyDeleteI'm also reading through the Bible this year with my kids. We're using Zondervan's The Story for the first time which I really love.
Hi, Lisa! So love the pic above with your books and the giraffe...so enticing and gorgeous! I read An Ocean Away this summer...loved it and reviewed it for Amazon and CBD. Also will be featured on Overcoming Through Time in Aug. I just finished The Colonel's Lady by Laura Frantz.

This summer I have been reading a lot. I have just started on my tenth Karen Kingsbury book, "Take One", and I have read books by Kristen Heitzmann, Bodie and Brock Thoene, and various other authors. I just can't seem to get enough to read! My teenage daughters also love to read and we have participated in a book swap with our pastor's daughter. vidomich(at)yahoo(dot)com

ReplyDeleteOur internet is out so I'm popping in with our back up system. Have enjoyed reading your comments on what you're reading this summer. Some great authors and books in the list!
ReplyDeleteI just finished books one and two of Lisa T. Bergren YA series, Waterfall and Cascade, and really enjoyed them. Now onto the never ending stack of books waiting for me!
Happy Reading all!
I have taken a reading break, very unusual for me, but I've been listening to motivational/training on my MP3 player/computer. I love keeping up with you on your blog!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Kristi
I would love to win these books! Thanks for the chance! Right now I am reading a really good book I had never heard of before (borrowed it from my mom :) "A Most Uncommon Degree of Popularity" by Kathleen Gilles Seidel.

I just finished "Sketchy Behavior" by Erynn Mangum (it releases from Zondervan this September, I believe) and it was a great YA novel about a 16-year-old girl who discovers she has a talent for art and unknowingly uses it to sketch a wanted criminal. When the police use her drawing to apprehend a man who matches the description, her life is turned upside down.
ReplyDeleteI've also got a lot of books that I'm waiting for: "A Heart Revealed" by Julie Lessman, "The Merchant's Daughter" by Melanie Dickerson, "Ransome's Quest" by Kaye Dacus, "Surrender the Dawn" by Marylu Tyndall, etc.
Thank you for the chance to win --I looked at the summaries and these books sound great! =)
