Heart of Africa Holiday Giveaway...

Things have been busier than normal here, it seems, between school, ministry, and writing, but I guess that's just life, right? Summer is here full force, which means it's HOT. Thankfully, we get a few days of relief with the rain every now and then. (Though not often enough for me!)

Looking back at 2011, it's been a challenging year in many ways, but what a blessing to see God's faithfulness every step of the way. One of the most exciting things has been the opportunity to help with people's physical needs through The ECHO Project. You can check out here for an update for what we have been able to do with our donations and find ways to get involved and make a real difference in the lives of individuals.

Now for the giveaway...

Near the end of every year as a thanks to my blog readers, I like to give away something from the Heart of Africa. This year, it's a 2012 calendar filled with animal photos! Leave a comment below and tell me what you're thankful for this holiday season, or what you are most looking forward to. As for me, I'm so excited that our family will all be together as our oldest (Gabriel) returns home from boarding school to spend the holidays with us. I'll draw a winner Sunday night.

Happy November!

Lisa

This contest is limited to a US address only. Void where prohibited; the odds of winning depend on the number of entrants. Entering the giveaway is considered a confirmation of eligibility on behalf of the enterer in accord with these rules and any pertaining local/federal/international laws.

I am thankful that God ALWAYS provides even when the situation looks like there is no hope. That He keeps His promises and never lets me down.

    Hello Lisa,

I am so thankful that our adoption of a little girl from South Africa is moving along and we should be able to bring her home in 2012!

I am also thankful that God has given us our heart's desire to open a missionary care Oasis in Cape Town, South Africa! We have been approved by a mission agency and Lord willing, we should be arriving to open it in 2013!

I also loved Undercover Cowboy on my Kindle! I love the photos you have taken for the calendar! So beautiful.

    Julie

I am so very thankful that God has found a way for me to, as my pastor says, find my "sweet spot". I have always loved to help others and was a quiet Christian. However, now He is putting voice to my heart and energy to my spirit! I LOVE telling others about my God who is faithful, just, and so full of awesome, abounding, and never-failing love! I am looking forward to all of the journeys and new insights that He has for me for next year!

May we all find our "sweet spot" as we seek to follow Him. Beautiful words.

And Diane, you're a huge blessing and part of what God is doing here. Thank you for your constant encouragement!

I am most thankful for my brother and sister in law, who, when faced with darkness during a horrible family crisis, let His light shine through for all to see God's love, His Grace and His perfect timing. I know you are looking forward to the holidays Lisa. Blessings to you and your family. Jeanne Corrigan
