Thanks for all the great book suggestions many of you left last week in the comment section. I've compiled them in case you are looking for a recommended summer read. I'm always looking for new authors (and more from my favorite authors, of course) so here is a great list sent in by all of you! The last one is what I just finished and really enjoyed.
Sisterchicks in Wooden Shoes by Robin Jones Gunn
Summertime J. M. Coetzee
A Gift of Grace by Amy Clipston
A Time To Surrender by Sally John and Gary Smalley
Adam by Ted Dekker
The Passion trilogy by Julie Lessman
Ransome’s Honor by Kaye Dacus
Never the Bride by Rene Gutteridge and Cheryl McKay
The Kidnapping of Kenzie Thorn by Liz Johnson
Sunset Beach by Trish Perry
The Stand-In Groom by Kaye Dacus
The Returning by Ann Tatlock
Faking Grace by Tamara Leigh
Austenland by Shannon Hale
The Shape of Mercy by Susan Meisner

Hi Edna, It's winter here right now, so we are enjoying warm days and cool nights. In December through February, though, it's very hot and there is no air conditioning in buildings or houses. Thankfully, the rest of the year is pretty perfect!
