And the winners are...

After a little more than five months in the States on furlough, we are now back in Africa! I've had a lot of emotions over returning as I'm excited to get home, but already missing friends and family we were so blessed to be able to connect with while back in the States.

And our travels aren't over yet. We are currently in northern South Africa at my aunt's home and will be leaving tomorrow for Mozambique--but just for a quick trip across the boarder to get our passports stamped and to pick up more school supplies for the kids at our house before returning to SA. I'll then be spending the next four or five weeks helping my aunt move out of her home while Scott jumps back into ministry in Mozambique. Please pray for this time as our family is apart, but especially for Janelle, who will be leaving Africa after forty plus years of ministry.

And the winners are...

Thank you so much to all of you who entered my giveaway for Blood Covenant! And thanks to Random.org I have four winners. Congratulations to Bthompson (SA), Melisa Weaver, Barb Shelton, and Lanitha Warnken! Along with a copy of Blood Covenant, Lanitha is also the winner of the African tea and chocolates. Congratulations, ladies! I'll be contacting you to get your mailing address this week.

For those of you who didn't win, don't worry. I have another big giveaway coming up later this week that will include a very special prize from the heart of Africa as well as copies of my March release, An Ocean Away. I'm exited about this book as it is set both in southern Africa and New York City in the early 1920's. So if you love historicals and romantic suspense, be sure and pre-order your copy today at Amazon or Christianbook.com!

Lastly, when we left the States, I know that many of you were still in the midst of a cold winter, so I thought you might enjoy the beauty of summertime in Africa.

Be blessed,

Lisa

  4. Contining to remember you all in prayer, Lisa. Do give our love to Janelle. It was hard saying goodbye to dear sisters and brothers in Christ in Africa after only a few weeks. I can only imagine how she must be feeling right now!
