I'm so excited to announce the release of my latest Love Inspired Suspense, TAKEN, (Feb 1st) and set in Paris, France! So to celebrate, I've planned an extra special giveaway.
For starters, four winners will receive a copy of Taken to read and enjoy!
And for the grand prize winner. . .one person will win a copy of Taken PLUS twelve stunning photo cards from France. Here's the cool thing. These cards are being sold as a fundraiser for a sweet seventeen year old friend of ours who is raising money in order to travel to Ethiopia with her parents to pick up her sibling(s) they are in the process of adopting. I'm so excited to be able to help support her for all of you to be involved as well.
I would like something from you as well, though. I'm currently working with my publisher on a possible brand new romantic suspense series set in different locals around the world. . .like Paris. So what about you? What would you pick as your top international local for a page-turning suspense novel?
Let me know in your comment below, AND please also be sure to leave a way for me to contact you to be entered.
Open to both US and international winners. Addresses outside the US will receive an ebook copy of TAKEN. Drawing closes Tuesday, February 3rd, 12:00 am PST.
A bit more about TAKEN:
Kate Elliot's suburban life turns upside-down when her sister is shot and her niece kidnapped. Unsure of whom to trust, she turns to FBI agent, Marcus O'Brian. Against the handsome agent's orders, she tracks her niece to Paris, but the City of Lights quickly becomes a city of danger. When kidnappers demand a ransom, Marcus isn't sure how much longer he can keep Kate alive. Now Marcus has the next twenty-four hours to save a stolen child and the woman he's falling in love with.
Happy Reading!
Lisa Harris

ReplyDeleteLove your books, Lisa. Taken sounds amazing! i would love to read a book set in Venice.
ReplyDeleteHow about a book set in Hannibal, Missouri.....I know it doesn't sound romantic, but I fell in love with historical Hannibal and visiting all the places made famous by Mark Twain in his Tom Sawyer book.....especially my visit to the Mark Twain Cave and my guide with his Mark Twain moustache and re-enactment of scenes from Tom Sawyer......and what could be more romantic than a moonlight dinner cruise along the Mississippi River on the Mark Twain Riverboat!

DeleteThanks for the giveaway! Would love to read and review this one. My hubby is hoping to be able to go to Paris for a work convention next year - this would be a lovely prelude for me 😊. I think a book set in Berlin would be incredibly interesting - I have never been there, but visualize that it must be a lot like Munich which I have visited. The history is so rich in Europe, making suspense even more likely.
ReplyDeleteI would think about Hawaii . . I think this is a great giveaway :)

ReplyDeleteHi Lisa
ReplyDeleteI'm going to pop over & buy TAKEN right now (well pre-order, I guess). What a great idea for a series … and you have to travel to the city, naturally, for your research. Look Australia would be fun because we'd love to host you but I think somewhere like Vienna or Venice would be pretty special.
Another thought would be Tokyo or Hong Kong but readers may not be drawn to them as much.
I'm looking forward to reading TAKEN … I'll report back.
Congratulations on the release and I trust hubby will spoil you with a special something to celebrate.
Bless,
Ian
Well, we lived in Russia for many years - so I will have to say Moscow. :)

Hello Lisa. Sounds like some good mysteries. I would like to see a setting in Ireland. According to my name in Ancestry my people came from Wales and Ireland first, then to England and on to America. Please put my name in. Thanks much! Maxie > mac262(at)me(dot)com <
ReplyDeleteI would choose Paris : ) but Greece, Australia, Switzerland, & the Amazon would be amazing too!!! Love your books!!! Neceemama(at)yahoo(dot)com
ReplyDeleteAlbania is north of Greece and east of Italy across the Aegean Sea. Because of this there are some commonalities. Is that a real word, commonalities? They aligned with China versus the USSR as a communist nation. This has an interesting impact on their society. I believe all of this would contribute to an interesting setting for one of your intriguing tales. :O) Melanie McDaniel Bailey, 2121 NE 78th Avenue, Vancouver, WA 98664
ReplyDeleteI love Italy; the food, the language, the culture, the history, the sun on a field of sunflowers... :)
