Every year I love giving away something special. . .straight from the Heart of Africa. While this year has been a bit of a whirlwind--meaning I haven't had the chance to blog as often--I appreciate so much those of you who continue to faithfully follow our life and take the time to pray for our family and ministry.
Thank you!
I think I'm thankful most this season for having at
least part of my family home. With my kids in boarding school, holidays have
become extra special and never long enough! We are really enjoying the time we
have together.
What about you this holiday season?
I’ve been thinking lately in particular of several friends
who have really struggled this year. When life hits hard, it can be difficult to stop and remember
what we are thankful for. But God has continued to show me that even when
things seem the darkest He is light!
I’d love to hear about what you’re thankful for this holiday
season. Leave a comment on this post and you’ll be automatically entered. I
will draw three names on December 20th. Drawing will end at midnight, PST.
One winner will received the ‘Mug with coffee and tea from
Africa’ gift. Two other names will receive—hot off the press—a copy of Hidden
Agenda. Winners outside the US will receive an ebook copy. (Sorry, but the Africa
gift set can only be delivered to a US address.)
*Please leave your email so I can contact you if you are one of the winners!*
*Please leave your email so I can contact you if you are one of the winners!*
Merry Christmas!!!!
PS Both Hidden Agenda and Taken will be released in the next
few weeks. If you haven’t pre-ordered your copy, you can do so at these links!
Hidden Agenda is book three in my Southern Crimes series and
Taken is romantic suspense set in my favorite city. . .Paris!
“A non-stop chase that is constantly set on high-gear, fans of Lisa Harris will revel in the constant race from one place to another. Readers will most definitely be unable to catch their breath before the fantastic ending is revealed.” Suspense Magazine on Hidden Agenda
Giveaway is void where prohibited; the odds of winning depend on the number of entrants. Entering the giveaway is considered a confirmation of eligibility on behalf of the enterer in accord with these rules and any pertaining local/federal/international laws.
I am Thankful this holiday season for my my family and my health. The doctors thought they might have to give me another pacemaker but by the grace of God they delayed it and just put me on another type of medicine. Prayerfully it will work. So I am grateful for not having another Surgery.

DeleteI am thankful this year in that whenever major problems have occurred in my life, God has sent just the right person to make things right. One huge problem was with my septic system. God sent a very knowledgeable excavator, who was able to pinpoint the source of the problem and give me good advice on how to make the corrections. He did all the necessary work, and more, at a reasonable price. There were many smaller issues, where God worked everything out. I am so blessed. Many blessings and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

DeleteI'm thankful for so much. I'm thankful that at the age of 43 I finally get to spend this CHRISTMAS with my soul mate. Most of all, though, I am so thankful that, even though my mom's health is declining rapidly, she is still here to spend Christmas with. Being her caregiver has been very hard emotionally the past couple of months but it's also been very rewarding. I feel so Blessed even through all of the stress. God is good and if we make it through the next 8 days I will forever be grateful to have one last Christmas with my mom.

While I was going to school, Christmas was the only time during the year I was able to come home. I am so thankful to live close to my family once again. DeleteThis time of year, I realize anew how much I have thankful for. I am thankful for the free gift of salvation that was so freely given to me. I remember the day so many years ago when I learned that I had a Heavenly Father that loved me so much, that He sent His son to live and die for me. Tears still come to my eyes when I think about that precious gift. I am thankful that I am able to spend Christmas with my family. So many times in life we get so caught up in situations and distractions that we neglect to treasure those rare and beautiful moments with our families. Merry Christmas to you and yours! God bless!!!!!

All of this has made me thankful for the time I have with my family.
