ReplyDeleteI enjoy great mysteries because I have a keen sense of justice, and love to see right vindicated. Plus, it keeps my brain working to try and figure out who did it. I will say to my husband, "I think it had to be Susan who slipped the strychnine into the bromide solution because..." about a book we've been reading together. He reads mystery novels to me every night before we go to bed.

I have loved suspense/mysteries for as long as I could read! The actual suspense grips me along with trying to determine who it is. It great entertainment without the commercials!

I love mysteries because they make you think. I try to figure them out but usually the author will leave out that all important clue until the end.
ReplyDeleteThat's always the challenge for the author. To surprise the reader while still making it believable. That's what I love to read!

Nancy Drew was always one of my favoite series, Carole! I don't believe it's available on Kindle yet, but hopefully soon.
